Your schedule

Your organisation may have set up a schedule for a program you are involved in. This helps both you and the volunteer manager coordinate the logistics of volunteering.

How do you receive your schedule?

You will receive an email with a link to your program's schedule. This link is just for you, do not share it! Not all volunteering programs will use a schedule. If you have any questions or need the link, contact your volunteering manager.

What is on the schedule page

You will be able to:

• See volunteering shifts assigned to you, including their time, date and any other information provided
• Confirm a volunteering shift assigned to you to let your volunteer manager know you can help out at that time
• Cancel a volunteering shift assigned to you to let your volunteer manager know you cannot help out at that time
• Request an open shift if available to you
• Withdraw an open shift request before it's confirmed by your volunteering manager

1. Program name.
2. An assigned volunteering shift that your volunteering manager needs you to confirm or decline.
3. An open shift you have requested. Your volunteering manager needs to approve this before it becomes your volunteering shift. You can withdraw the request if you no longer wish to request it.
4. Confirmed volunteering shift; please attend. You can cancel the shift to let your volunteering manager know you cannot attend
5. List of open shifts, if you find a shift that you can attend, request it.

What if I see no shifts assigned to me?

Your program manager may not have any assigned to you at the present moment. Request an open shift, if available, or contact your volunteering manager about how you can contribute.

What if there are no open shifts?

Not all programs use open shifts. Contact your volunteering manager to ask how you can contribute.

What if I cannot remember my link?

Each program will have its own unique link for you, which will remain the same throughout your time in the program. Bookmark the link to return at any time.
