How INVOLVE can work for you

INVOLVE is a cloud-based (SaaS) volunteer management system designed to help organisations manage volunteers and volunteer-involving programs. From onboarding your volunteers to scheduling them, we aim to help you manage more effectively so you can focus on helping the community.

What you can do with INVOLVE

  • Onboard volunteers using a customisable onboarding checklist and statuses

  • Store all the information you need and add anything that is missing, for example, if you need to know their favourite ice cream flavour

  • Segment your volunteers based on fields or status

  • Set up volunteer programs and assign volunteers to roles and activities for each shift, so everyone is aware of the plan.

  • Invite extra staff to manage specific programs within INVOLVE

  • Send schedules to volunteers so they can confirm attendance

  • Handle cancellations and changes in shifts

  • Automatically generate timesheets based on shifts or volunteer check-ins

How INVOLVE is organised

The heart of INVOLVE revolves around the volunteers. The volunteers are first onboarded as organisation volunteers. They can then be assigned to one or more programs. Within programs, they can be assigned a role and scheduled to complete specific activities during a shift.

Staff Permissions

There are five levels of access to INVOLVE, allowing any size organisation to divide responsibilities and programs among staff members.

Billing Owner

The billing owner has access to everything, including billing information and invoices.

Organisation Administrator

Organisation administrators can access all programs, volunteers, and organisation-wide settings.

Volunteer Manager

Volunteer managers have full access to all programs and volunteers within your organisation. Their roles can include onboarding volunteers, setting up programs, and assigning volunteers and Program Coordinators to programs.

Program Manager*

Program managers have full access to selected programs and volunteers. They can also add new volunteers and assign existing ones to their programs as needed. Their role is similar to that of a Volunteer Manager, but is limited to only select programs.

Program Coordinator

Program coordinators have limited access to selected programs and volunteers. Their role can be to communicate with volunteers, set up schedules and assign volunteers roles, shifts and activities

What about security?

Data storage

All data is primarily stored in Sydney. The data centre we use is Microsoft Azure in Sydney and Melbourne. It is backed up every seven minutes and 3-week retention is kept. All data is encrypted in rest and and in transit.

SSO (Single sign-on)

SSO is via Microsoft Entra and available to users on a Premium subscription plan.
