Program specific onboarding

Some programs may require additional onboarding steps, or perhaps they may not require some of the organisation's onboarding steps. For example, a program may be in direct contact with youth, so it requires an approved Working with Children check and additional training before commencement.

How to add a program-specific checklist

  1. Navigate to the program
  2. Select the down chevron next to the program name to activate the context menu and choose Manage Program Checklist
  3. When the modal appears, you will find the organisation's onboarding checklist items. If they do not apply to volunteers in this program, you can select the eye icon to hide the item.
  4. Add program-specific items by selecting the Add item... link at the bottom. You can reorder the items if needed.
  5. When finished, select the Save button at the bottom of the modal

Note: only organisations on the Premium Plan can use the additional, program-specific checklists.


How to check items off the program checklist

  1. Navigate to the program and select the Volunteers tab
  2. Select the volunteer to bring up their profile
  3. Select the checklist indicator on their Overview tab
  4. Check off items and select the Save button at the bottom of the modal

Do it faster: You can bring up the checklist modal directly from the volunteer list. Select the checklist bar in their row. If you don't see it, select the Customise button and switch it on
