June 2026 release notes
The pre-conference release! We are super excited to be visiting Adelaide next week. The team will be on the ground at the National Volunteering Conference to talk all things volunteer management. We can't wait to hear all the ideas.
Improvements
✏️ Management of profile options
We've listened to you and introduced powerful new controls to manage volunteer profile field options. You can customise both system-provided and custom options for the following fields:
- Gender
- Pronouns
- Referral Source
- Dietary Requirements
- Skills
- Interests
- Languages
You can rename or hide system options and create, rename or remove custom options.
This enhancement gives you greater flexibility in how information is captured on the candidate application form (coming soon), helping to ensure the options are relevant to your organisation.
Have a look:
- Navigate to My organisation
- Select the settings tab
- Select a profile option to bring up its modal
- rename, hide (system ones), add or remove (custom ones)
- Select done when you're finished

🗓️ Multi-day holidays support
More options with your scheduling! You can create holidays that span a date range, perfect for school holidays or staff development weeks. This improvement allows you to define start and end dates for organisation holidays, ensuring shifts are correctly aligned with extended closures or events.
Have a look:
- Navigate to My organisation and select the Settings tab
- Select 'Holidays'
- Add a new holiday and select a date range, give it a name and save
- On your program schedules, these dates will be named and greyed out
😎 Dashboard update
You may have already noticed a new dashboard when you log in (also accessible by selecting the INVOVLE logo)! We've given this page a little more oomph by listing your programs along with some of their details. It also houses links to some useful help articles.

⭐ Shift panel changes
We have streamlined the shift panel a bit! As part of upcoming shift updates, we have improved the shift slide-out by hiding certain details until you need them. This keeps this space cleaner and allows you to focus on the important details first.
Take a look:
- Navigate to a program and select the Schedule tab
- Select a cell to add a new shift, or select the 'create shift' button to bring up the shift slide-out panel
- See under the status, the rest of the details are hidden and can be added by selecting the 'more details' button
🐛 Bug fixes & usability improvements
A set of impactful fixes to improve day-to-day usage, including improving the filter by tag so you can see who hasn't been tagged.
