February 2026 release notes

Well, well, we have a juicy little release for February. Small tweaks that pack a big bang!

✨ New Features

⏱ See who is clocked on

If you use the clock-on tool (available to Essential and Premium tiers), you have probably already noticed the new feature that shows who is clocked on. The volunteer's avatar now has a green ring to indicate they have clocked on. We've also added a dedicated view of the schedule and volunteer list to see only those clocked on for today.

Have a look:

1. Navigate to a program and select the Volunteers tab
2. Select the Clocked-on tab above the list of volunteers (this is where you will see anyone who is clocked-on)
3. Now navigate to the Schedule tab
4. Select the view dropdown and choose Clocked-on (this will filter the day view to just those who are clocked-on)
5. Lastly, navigate to the Overview tab and see the schedule card; this will let you know how many volunteers are currently clocked-on

🚀 Improvements

Custom scheduling for recurring shifts

This might seem small, but this is going to help out in a big way! You can customise the pattern of your recurring shifts, giving you more flexibility than traditional weekly recurrence. Is it every other day? Weekend evenings? Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays? Or even the last Friday of each month? You can now schedule more complex recurring shifts in one go.

Have a look:

1. Navigate to a program schedule

2. Select a cell to add a shift and bring up the shift slide-out

3. In the repeat dropdown select a repeat option

4. Choose from the additional options that now appear (except for fortnight)

5. Select the Save button to see it set the repeating pattern

🐛 Bug Fixes

As usual, we have found and corrected some minor bugs, improving the user experience. Most of these were caught by the testing team, but a couple were brought to our attention by you, our users - thank you for your time and patience to keep INVOLVE running smoothly 💙
